Placencia, Belize vacation 9/27/03-10/5/03

Cave swimming was an exciting adventure trip in the Toledo district of Belize. It was not far from the Mayan ruins at Lubaantum (Place of Fallen Stones). The village of Blue Creek is the staging area for the trip. It begins with a short hike along the creek to a waterfall spilling out from a cave mouth.
